"Wow, what an amazing Coach Tom is.
He arrived at the club at 6pm and left at 10:30pm. That's a lot of extra time to have given us. His advice was very, very good, and there was no question too big for him. His experience, knowledge , and passion stands out a mile." We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Our Graduated Beginners Nov 2017

Congratulations to all the beginners that started their journey Sept 2017.  It is a real joy to train with them, some not being able to run 100 metres and some that wanted to get back into running with a friendly group of like minded people.

Parkrun saw a great turn out from the runners aswell as Didcot Runners helpers, all encouraging them to the finish line.

Theresa will be running an Improvers group on Tuesdays which will bring the runners from 5km to 10km with a 10km race at the end, sometime in February. Ian will be running intervals on a Thursday to offer confidence to the group. There are of course the usual main group that they can get involved in.

Well done to everyone. You are all amazing.

Dear Didcot Runners,

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with the Didcot 5 mile run and fun run held on the 2nd July this year. We raised a whopping £1500 each for the Earth Trust and Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary!

We would like to invite the whole club to attend an evening presentation to the charities, to thank you all for your support.

The event will be held on Tuesday 21st November at the football club from 20:00, following the club run. Presentations to the charities will be at 20:30 and you can hear how the donations will be put to good use.

Like last year, there will be a buffet and we would be grateful if you could bring along a contribution to this. The bar will also be open!

New to this year's event the London Marathon ballot will also be announced in the evening.

Please let us know if you are intending to make the evening - we will be setting up a facebook event.

Hope to see you there,  The Didcot 5 team
