Didcot Runners has been shortlisted to receive a prestigious Business & Community Award (BACAs)!. Following a nomination in the Charity/Community Sector: Best Established Charity/Community Group category. Thank you all so much for your support and votes. we will share any further information with you soon. The awards night is 18th November 2016.
Tonight is the new route Fleetmeadow and it has been donated from Noel - it’s quite straight forward, but we suggest you buddy up for this route to reduce the chance of you getting lost. We would like to advise you that a headtorch maybe needed at times. The route is 5.5 miles, Noel, Sue P, Dave E, Theresa, Rachael H have all ran the route if you need some guidance or check out the map on the calender. There are many points in the run if you would like to make this a smaller run or a longer one. Take care and remember your hi-viz and head torch to stay safe. Please feedback to the committee if you have any concerns or if you have enjoyed the new route, or maybe if you would like to give the club a run of your own to follow and use.

Loose Canon Brewery Tour - This is a bit different to some of the other events which people post in this group, but, some of us have been discussing a club night to the very popular Loose Canon Brewery in Abingdon for one of their tours. £15 per head gets you a brief tour, unlimited ale (there is something for everyone), a free pint or half pint glass and sausage & chips (veg option available).
The next tour is on Tuesday 18th October at 7pm and finishes at 21:30 and there are still plenty of spaces available. I am already booked on so if anyone would like to join me, please contact me and I'll let you know further details/how to book. There is also information on the Loose Canon website. contact Simon woods on the facebook page or message Secretary@didcotrunners.org.uk who will pass the message on.
Well done to Simon for completing this course in a fantastic time.
Dear All, Cross Country details have been announced.
The venues are more local to us this season which should allow more of our runners to take part in this awesome winter event. Check out the link for more information on the league http://www.oxonxc.org.uk If you are interested in having your name down for cross country, send me a message and I will add you to the team sheets. This year it is even more important to let me know your interests and it will not be so easy to 'turn up and run' - See the club website for Cross Country information http://didcotrunners.org.uk/cross-country
Kind regards Theresa and Andrew email@example.com
There is no stopping our members. Well done Mike, Helen and Dan.
